{"id":150877,"date":"2026-08-23T08:44:10","date_gmt":"2026-08-23T08:44:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/dk\/150877\/"},"modified":"2026-08-23T08:44:10","modified_gmt":"2026-08-23T08:44:10","slug":"easyjet-shrinks-norway-network-from-three-to-one-airport","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/dk\/150877\/","title":{"rendered":"easyJet shrinks Norway network from three to one airport"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>easyJet is scaling back sharply in Norway, withdrawing from Oslo Airport and Harstad-Narvik Airport and leaving Troms\u00f8 as its only remaining Norwegian destination.<\/p>\n<p>The move is part of a wider network review that sees the low-cost carrier leaving six airports until the end of the year: Bergamo, Stockholm Arlanda, Istanbul, Harstad-Narvik, Oslo and <a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\" class=\"text-primary underline\" href=\"https:\/\/travelmole.com\/news\/easyjet-abandon-leeds-bradford-airport\/\">Leeds Bradford<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>At Oslo, <a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\" class=\"text-primary underline\" href=\"www.easyjet.com\">easyJet <\/a>currently operates Manchester service. Last year, the airline offered roughly 11,000 one-way seats on a monthly basis, corresponding to 61 departures from Oslo, according to Avinor data.<\/p>\n<p>easyJet\u2019s Oslo presence expanded in October 2024 when it launched services to Paris Charles de Gaulle and Milan Malpensa, with three and four weekly flights respectively. Those routes have since been withdrawn, leaving Manchester as the airline\u2019s principal Oslo operation before the final exit.<\/p>\n<p>The airline\u2019s withdrawal from Harstad-Narvik (EVE) will follow in September 2026. easyJet launched services there in 2025, initially linking the northern Norwegian airport with Amsterdam and Milan. The Amsterdam route was subsequently dropped, leaving Milan as the final service.<\/p>\n<p>The retrenchment leaves Troms\u00f8 (TOS) as easyJet\u2019s sole Norwegian airport. The airline has built a significantly broader network there, serving destinations including Amsterdam, Berlin, Bristol, Geneva, London Gatwick, Manchester, Milan Malpensa and Paris Charles de Gaulle.<\/p>\n<p>The Troms\u00f8 expansion was part of easyJet\u2019s 2024 push into northern Norway.
