Its angel investor base includes executives from Hugging Face, Mollie, Juni, Deel, Miro, Coinbase, PayPal and Navro.

“Instead of business owners coordinating between banks, bookkeepers, and tax advisors, we deliver a single “done-for-you” state of work where reconciliation, compliance, and reporting happen automatically in the background. The business owner’s only touchpoint is reviewing what’s already been handled,” said Nick Knuppe, founder and CEO of Neno.

Since launching in the Netherlands in the first quarter of 2026, Neno has grown to almost 200 customers. The early customers include SOUS, FeedbackFruits, The Cirqle, and Y Combinator-backed Airweave and Rally, spanning hospitality, HR, legal, e-commerce and SaaS.

The Dutch startup aims to save entrepreneurs more than 100 hours a year otherwise lost to administrative work, by folding accounting, tax, payroll and business banking into a single AI-native workspace. The company says its team includes former founders, fintech veterans and chartered accountants who previously worked at Mollie, Adyen, Remote, Plaid, Deloitte, BDO and EY.

Through its AI-native financial workspace, Neno is targeting Europe’s accounting, tax and professional services market, worth more than €200 billion a year, according to the company. More than half of the continent’s 26 million SMEs outsource their accounting, payroll and tax work to outside providers, a reliance that is especially common among businesses with 10 to 100 employees.

Neno argues that this decades-old model has become unsustainable, as fragmented workflows across banking, accounting, tax and payroll fail to produce useful financial insight, while a shortage of accounting talent strains traditional client-to-accountant ratios.

To address this, Neno has built what it calls a real-time “agentic general ledger” that pulls together data from business bank accounts, corporate cards, bill payments, and receivables into one system. The company says this enables 5x faster reconciliation and VAT preparation, saving customers an average of 8 hours of admin work per month and cutting annualised accounting fees by 20%.

“AI-native financial infrastructure with embedded professional services is one of the most compelling untouched opportunities in modern fintech today. Neno is reengineering the very role of accountants and tax advisors, disrupting a 50-year-old professional services model. The team’s deep domain experience and ability to become a category leader in AI-native financial services were key reasons for AlleyCorp to invest,” said Luc Ryan-Schreiber, Investor at AlleyCorp

The fresh capital will fund the launch of Neno Labs, research and development of what the company calls Ambient AI, and additional hiring across its accounting, tax and go-to-market teams.

Neno, an Amsterdam-based AI-native financial services startup for small and medium-sized businesses, has raised €6.6 million in Seed…

[101
71594,71595,199,41013,71596,18848,71597,71598,45334,71599,200,71600,55945
post-151969","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","category-amsterdam","tag-airweave","tag-alleycorp","tag-amsterdam","tag-deel","tag-firstminute-capital","tag-hugging-face","tag-luc-ryan-schreiber","tag-mollie","tag-motive-partners","tag-neno","tag-netherlands","tag-nick-knuppe","tag-seed-funding
["GET
