(WWTI) \u2013 A 72-year-old Gouverneur man died Monday morning after his dump truck allegedly struck a parked refuse truck and overturned on County Route 47 in the town of Stockholm.<\/p>\n<p>According to the New York State Police, Gregory Yaddow was driving a southbound 1999 TK Sterling dump truck around 7 a.m. when he struck a 2009 Freightliner refuse truck parked on the west shoulder of the roadway. Following the impact, the dump truck ran off the west shoulder and flipped over.<\/p>\n<p>Local fire and rescue personnel responded to the crash scene. Yaddow suffered serious injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.<\/p>\n<p>State police identified the driver of the refuse truck as 44-year-old Frederick Fraser, of Saint Regis Falls. His passenger was identified as 57-year-old Tina M. Langdon, 57, also of Saint Regis Falls. Neither party was injured in the collision.<\/p>\n<p>Members of the New York State Police Collision Reconstruction Unit and Commercial Vehicle Enforcement Unit responded to assist with the investigation. The St. Lawrence County Sheriff\u2019s Office also assisted at the scene.<\/p>\n<p>All facts in this report were gathered by journalists employed by WWTI.
