The arrival marks another stage in Warsaw’s 32-aircraft acquisition and the Polish Air Force’s transition to the Lockheed Martin fighter.

The U.S. Department of War delivered the aircraft on a ferry flight that included a stop in the Azores. The five jets carry tail numbers 3512 through 3516.

Eight other Polish F-35As remain at Ebbing Air Base in Fort Smith, where they support training for Polish pilots and other personnel. Together with the aircraft now in Poland, they comprise the 16 jets assembled at Lockheed Martin’s Fort Worth plant in Texas.

The remaining 16 aircraft covered by Poland’s current order will be assembled at the European final assembly facility in Cameri, Italy. Lockheed Martin and Leonardo operate the site, which gives the second half of the Polish fleet a shorter delivery route.

✈️ Pięć kolejnych F-35A „Husarz” dotarło do 32.
