{"id":156671,"date":"2026-09-01T00:54:09","date_gmt":"2026-09-01T00:54:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/dk\/156671\/"},"modified":"2026-09-01T00:54:09","modified_gmt":"2026-09-01T00:54:09","slug":"netmore-group-to-help-deploy-digital-water-meters-in-denmark","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/dk\/156671\/","title":{"rendered":"Netmore Group to help deploy digital water meters in Denmark"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Netmore Group, is collaborating with Aarhus Vand and Kamstrup to support the <a href=\"https:\/\/netmoregroup.com\/news\/aarhus-vand-selects-netmore-for-smart-meter-network\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">deployment of about 69,000 digitally connected water meters<\/a> across Aarhus Municipality, Denmark.<\/p>\n<p>Powered by Netmore\u2019s carrier-grade LoRaWAN\u00ae network and Kamstrup\u2019s digital water metering technology, the project will provide Aarhus Vand with real-time visibility into water consumption while helping residents better understand and reduce their water usage.<\/p>\n<p>Rollout begins in Tranbjerg following a successful pilot involving about 1,000 households, where the communication between Kamstrup\u2019s digital meters and Aarhus Vand was validated. The full deployment will continue through 2030, covering communities across Aarhus Municipality.<\/p>\n<p>The new water meters will eliminate manual meter readings while enabling continuous remote collection of consumption data. Customers will gain online access to their water usage, allowing them to monitor consumption patterns and identify opportunities to conserve water. At the same time, Aarhus Vand will be able to detect unusually high consumption earlier, helping identify issues such as water leaks, faulty heat exchangers, or damaged water infrastructure before they result in unnecessary water waste and higher utility bills.<\/p>\n<p>To ensure reliable communication, Netmore will deploy and manage a dense LoRaWAN network that enables seamless data transmission between the Kamstrup water meters and Aarhus Vand\u2019s systems.
