Borkum Riffgrund 3 enters commercial operation<\/p>\n
\u00d8rsted and Nuveen Infrastructure\u2019s Borkum Riffgrund 3 wind farm in the German North Sea has begun commercial operations<\/a>.<\/p>\n The 913-MW development, 72 km offshore, is one of the largest in the German sector, supplying electricity to German industrial and technology offtakers.<\/p>\n It is also \u00d8rsted\u2019s sixth operational offshore wind farm in Germany, following the 253-MW Gode Wind 3 project commissioned in early 2025, and again, owned jointly with infrastructure investment manager Nuveen. <\/p>\n The project is among Germany’s largest offshore wind farms and supplies renewable electricity under long-term corporate power purchase agreements.<\/p>\n Pre-assembly begins for Windanker wind turbines in Baltic Sea<\/p>\n
