{"id":158118,"date":"2026-09-03T00:15:10","date_gmt":"2026-09-03T00:15:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/dk\/158118\/"},"modified":"2026-09-03T00:15:10","modified_gmt":"2026-09-03T00:15:10","slug":"european-royals-to-gather-in-oslo-for-king-haralds-funeral-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/dk\/158118\/","title":{"rendered":"European royals to gather in Oslo for King Harald\u2019s funeral"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>dpa<\/p>\n<p>oslo<\/p>\n<p>Sweden\u2019s royal family will travel to Oslo next week for the funeral of Norway\u2019s King Harald V, who died last week at the age of 89.<\/p>\n<p>All adult members of the Swedish royal family are expected to attend the funeral on September 9, including King Carl XVI Gustaf and Queen Silvia, Crown Princess Victoria and Prince Daniel, Prince Carl Philip and Princess Sofia, and Princess Madeleine and her husband Christopher O\u2019Neill.<\/p>\n<p>The Swedish and Norwegian royal families have close personal and family ties. Harald\u2019s mother was Sweden\u2019s princess M\u00e4rtha, and the Norwegian king was godfather to Crown Princess Victoria, who knew him as \u201cUncle Harald.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Denmark\u2019s King Frederik X and Queen Mary have already confirmed their attendance.
