Air Canada is planning new flights to Europe and Central America from Toronto Pearson International Airport in Mississauga starting next year.<\/p>\n
The airline made the announcement on Thursday that it will start flights to Oslo, Norway; Shannon, Ireland and Nice, France in the summer of 2027. The Oslo flights will be the airline\u2019s third Scandinavian destination, with routes to Stockholm and Copenhagen, and will be the only North American non-stop flights to Norway.<\/p>\n
Flights to Oslo will be operated onboard its new Airbus A321XLR fleet featuring two cabins including the premium Air Canada Signature cabin with lie-flat seats. Flights have been scheduled to connect conveniently at its Toronto global hub to a multitude of destinations across North America.<\/p>\n
Air Canada\u2019s upcoming plans also include the return of the Toronto to London-Heathrow Day-tripper service, daily Toronto-to-Shanghai trips and a new Toronto-to-Guatemala City flight launching this December that will run year-round.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe airline\u2019s new service to Oslo, Shannon and Nice, along with enhanced connectivity to other key international destinations, strengthen vital links to global markets. Simply put, this gives passengers more choice,\u201d said Deborah Flint, President and CEO of Toronto Pearson.<\/p>\n

Thursday\u2019s flight announcements will follow the addition of new services this winter from Toronto to Ecuador, Spain, and year-round operations to Manchester, Copenhagen and Denmark. Air Canada says services to Tenerife, Manchester and Copenhagen will also be operated on the new Airbus A321XLR aircraft.<\/p>\n
