(WITN) &#8211; Warsaw police say two of their officers were injured after confronting a man who they say tried to break into an apartment. <\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Police say Adrain Brinson tried to break into an apartment on Wednesday by repeatedly kicking and damaging the door. The attempt was caught on camera, police say. <\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Officers say when they found Brinson walking away from the area, he tried to run away. <\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">After a chase and struggle, officers say they were able to take Brinson into custody. <\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Police say the man was taken to ECU Health Duplin Hospital for evaluation due to his erratic behavior and injuries he received during the struggle. <\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">The two officers\u2019 injuries were described as minor. Several pieces of department-issued equipment were damaged. <\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Online records show that Brinson was charged with second-degree burglary, breaking and entering, two counts of resisting a public officer\/serious bodily injury, two counts of resisting a public officer, injury to real property, and injury to personal property.<\/p>\n<p>Copyright 2026 WITN.
