Rather than opting for a more formal hairstyle, the Queen swept her brunette locks into a low ponytail, keeping her beauty look equally effortless. A pair of oversized tortoiseshell glasses became the standout accessory as she examined plans and toured the developing interiors.<\/p>\n

But behind the fashion moment was an engagement with a deeply personal connection. The facility’s full name, \u201cMary Elizabeth\u2019s Hospital \u2013 Riget for b\u00f8rn, unge og gravide,\u201d incorporates the Queen’s own first and middle names, Mary Elizabeth.\u00a0<\/p>\n

According to the Royal House, the new facility will be the first hospital of its kind in the world and will focus on children, young people and pregnant women.\u00a0<\/p>\n
