As reported by a correspondent from “Deutsche Welle”, about 500 people gathered in front of the Russian House to protest its closure. A stage was set up for the participants. The event was organized by the party of Sahra Wagenknecht, the Communist Party of Germany, and the NGO “Society of Russian-German Friendship”.<\/p>\n

Among the slogans of the protesters are “stop the Russophobic nonsense” and “end the aggressive policy towards Russia”.<\/p>\n

**Opponents of the Russian House**<\/p>\n

Nearby, a rally took place demanding the closure of the Russian House. According to a DW correspondent, about 250 people participated in it, many of whom were supporters of Ukraine.<\/p>\n

Representatives of the Green Party and pro-Ukrainian activists were present at the event. On Friedrichstrasse, they placed symbolic boxes into which, according to the participants’ plan, employees of the Russian House should put their belongings.<\/p>\n
