{"id":161893,"date":"2026-09-08T09:02:53","date_gmt":"2026-09-08T09:02:53","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/dk\/161893\/"},"modified":"2026-09-08T09:02:53","modified_gmt":"2026-09-08T09:02:53","slug":"salamair-announces-copenhagen-flights-via-baghdad","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/dk\/161893\/","title":{"rendered":"SalamAir announces Copenhagen flights via Baghdad"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>SalamAir, Oman\u2019s Low-Cost carrier, has announced the opening of ticket sales for its new service to Copenhagen, Denmark, via Baghdad, with the first flight scheduled for\u00a014th\u00a0November\u00a02026.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Operating under fifth-freedom traffic rights on the Baghdad\u2013Copenhagen sector, the service will connect Muscat and Copenhagen with a scheduled stop in Baghdad, creating a new travel link between Oman,\u00a0Iraq\u00a0and Denmark.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Travellers\u00a0from Muscat will be able to continue to Copenhagen via Baghdad, while passengers in Iraq can book flights directly between Baghdad and the Danish capital.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>With one-way Lite fares starting from RO130.99 between Muscat and Copenhagen via Baghdad, and from RO99. 99 between Baghdad and Copenhagen, the service will expand affordable travel options, strengthen international connectivity, and support demand for leisure, business, and visiting friends and relatives. It will also create new opportunities for tourism, trade, and cultural exchange between the Middle East and Northern Europe.<\/p>\n<p>The addition of Copenhagen marks another step in\u00a0SalamAir\u2019s\u00a0European expansion. By extending its Baghdad service to Denmark, SalamAir will connect underserved markets, stimulate new passenger\u00a0demand\u00a0and provide\u00a0travellers\u00a0from Copenhagen and the wider Northern European region with greater access to Oman and selected onward destinations across its network.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Steven Allen, Chief Commercial Officer of SalamAir, said: \u201cCopenhagen\u00a0is\u00a0the ninth new destination\u00a0added to\u00a0SalamAir\u2019s\u00a0network for 2026, reflecting the pace of our expansion and our focus on\u00a0developing\u00a0commercially promising markets. Operating twice weekly, the service\u00a0creates an important new connection between Oman,\u00a0Iraq\u00a0and Northern Europe, serving demand between Baghdad and Copenhagen while offering\u00a0travellers\u00a0more affordable options to and from Oman.
