{"id":162015,"date":"2026-09-08T11:20:09","date_gmt":"2026-09-08T11:20:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/dk\/162015\/"},"modified":"2026-09-08T11:20:09","modified_gmt":"2026-09-08T11:20:09","slug":"orsted-believes-in-koreas-commitment-to-expanding-renewable-energy","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/dk\/162015\/","title":{"rendered":"\u00d8rsted believes in Korea\u2019s commitment to expanding renewable energy"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"entry-meta\">Tuesday, September 8 2026  <\/p>\n<p>Wind Energy<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In a personal LinkedIn post, \u00d8rsted CEO Rasmus Errboe looks back with satisfaction on his recent trip to South Korea.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"684\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/dk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/09\/korea-1024x684.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-60318\"  \/><\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">He returned to Denmark with a reaffirmed belief in the country\u2019s significant long-term potential for offshore wind.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Errboe met government officials, industry representatives, and other key stakeholders in Korea, where \u00d8rsted is developing the 1.47 GW Incheon Offshore Wind projects, which will be able to produce enough electricity to power around 1.4 million Korean homes.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">From his conversations, Korea\u2019s continued commitment to expanding renewable energy is clear.<\/p>\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center wp-block-paragraph\">Errboe: \u201cI\u2019ve been impressed to see first-hand the industrial capabilities Korea has built through \u00d8rsted\u2019s collaboration with the local supply chain over more than a decade. Our partnerships have so far led to investments of approximately KRW 3.5 trillion (more than \u20ac2 billion) with Korean companies over the past ten years.
