The next collaboration set between Lego<\/a> and Nintendo is a neat one. Timed for release after theupcoming Ocarina of Time remake<\/a>, Nintendo announced during its The Legend of Zelda 40th Anniversary Direct that the next Legend of Zelda Lego set will be themed around Link and Epona.<\/p>\n

Adult Link sits atop his horse Epona while wielding the Master Sword and the Hylian Shield. Epona rears back into a dramatic pose that calls to mind Jacques-Louis David’s famous painting Napoleon Crossing the Alps. The remaining details around the upcoming Link & Epona set have not been revealed, including its price and piece count. Based on the released image, it seems both Link and Epona will have posable leg joints.<\/p>\n

The Lego The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time \u2013 Link & Epona set is built from 1,750 pieces, and will be available starting spring 2027. <\/p>\n

What other The Legend of Zelda Lego sets has Nintendo released?<\/p>\n

Nintendo and Lego have had a fruitful partnership in recent years. Earlier this year, they released Ocarina of Time – The Final Battle<\/a>, a 1,003-piece set that features Link and Zelda dueling with Ganon in a recreation of Ocarina of Time’s iconic ultimate boss fight. That one went for a hefty $129.99. Before that, there was the even pricier Deku Tree set<\/a>, a roughly $300, 2,500-piece mega build that has since been retired after selling out<\/a>. It seems fair to assume that the Link & Epona set will be cheaper than its predecessors, as it looks a bit smaller in scale.<\/p>\n

Why is Nintendo releasing an Ocarina of Time-themed set now?<\/p>\n

The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time<\/a> is getting the remake treatment. Nintendo showed the first major gameplay of its upcoming title during today’s Zelda Anniversary Direct. The game features a far more realistic, though still stylized, aesthetic, along with a long list of gameplay adjustments. Near the end of the trailer, child Link plays Epona’s Song on his Ocarina to call over his trusty steed.<\/p>\n

The remake is set to release on Nov. 5, 2026. It is probably fair to assume that the Lego set will be released around the same time.<\/p>\n
