His work earned him an\u00a0Outer Critics Circle nomination for Outstanding Featured Performer.<\/p>\n<p>Schiff\u00a0began his career in New York, where he founded and served as the Artistic Director of the Manhattan Repertory Theater, and directed off-Broadway productions, including\u00a0ANTIGONE,\u00a0starring Angela Bassett.
