S\u00f8ren Torpegaard Lund has won Dansk Melodi Grand Prix 2026 and will represent Denmark at Eurovision 2026 with \u201cF\u00f8r vi g\u00e5r hjem\u201d.<\/p>\n
Tonight, the final of Denmark\u2019s Eurovision selection show, Dansk Melodi Grand Prix, took place at Frederikshavn. Eight acts competed for their chance to represent their country at the contest in May, including Sissal, who sang for Denmark at Eurovision 2025. <\/p>\n
Dansk Melodi Grand Prix had a two-phase final, with voting held across two rounds. In the first round, the eight acts performed, with the top three progressing to the superfinal. The top three were then determined by 50% televoting and 50% jury voting. The results of the first round were as follows:<\/p>\n

Denmark debuted in the Eurovision Song Contest in 1957 alongside Austria and the United Kingdom. To date, Denmark has won the contest on three occasions, the first being in 1963 when Grethe & Jorgen Ingmann performed \u201cDansevise\u201d. Denmark won the contest again in 2000, represented by the Olsen Brothers.
