{"id":19421,"date":"2026-02-20T13:17:09","date_gmt":"2026-02-20T13:17:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/dk\/19421\/"},"modified":"2026-02-20T13:17:09","modified_gmt":"2026-02-20T13:17:09","slug":"danish-bakery-sells-bright-orange-donald-trump-moron-cakes","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/dk\/19421\/","title":{"rendered":"Danish bakery sells bright orange Donald Trump \u2018moron\u2019 cakes"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A bakery in Denmark started selling bright orange Donald Trump \u2018moron\u2019 cakes following his inauguration as president.<\/p>\n<p>At the start of his second term as president of the USA, Trump didn\u2019t exactly enamour himself to the Danes by openly discussing his desire to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thelondoneconomic.com\/politics\/trump-still-committed-to-taking-greenland-by-whatever-means-393324\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">take control of Greenland<\/a>, which is an autonomous territory of Denmark.<\/p>\n<p>Then, after a few months of upsetting the world order in other ways, Trump reignited tensions by threatening to takeover Greenland by force this year.<\/p>\n<p>This sparked fury from America\u2019s Nato allies, as major European powers rallied around a furious Denmark and told Trump to back off. <\/p>\n<p>Along with frosty statements and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thelondoneconomic.com\/news\/denmark-will-shoot-first-and-ask-questions-later-if-us-invades-greenland-2-402079\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">veiled military threats<\/a>, a more unusual way that the Danes have made their anger towards Trump known is in the form of baked goods.<\/p>\n<p>READ NEXT: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thelondoneconomic.com\/politics\/europeans-favourability-rating-americans-worst-on-record-403095\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Number of Europeans with unfavourable view of the US reaches HIGHEST point on record<\/a><\/p>\n<p>An image shared on Reddit\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.reddit.com\/r\/clevercomebacks\/comments\/1i1g7z0\/trump_has_become_a_cake_in_denmark\/?rdt=56710\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">r\/CleverComebacks forum<\/a> showed Donald Trump \u2018moron\u2019 cakes being sold at a bakery in Denmark. <\/p>\n<p>The bakery in question is Kjer\u2019s Brod, the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/2026\/02\/03\/world\/europe\/denmark-trump-boycott.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">New York Times<\/a> reports. <\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/dk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/02\/Screenshot-2026-02-10-at-21.30.58.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-403169\"  \/>The Trump \u2018moron cakes\u2019 at Kjer\u2019s Brod bakery.<\/p>\n<p>Posted by user PrincessRad, they explained the logic behind the joke. <\/p>\n<p>They wrote: \u2018It\u2019s a wordplay on the Danish <a href=\"https:\/\/mitziemee.com\/danish-food-the-kaj-cake\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">\u201cKaj kage\u201d<\/a> A cake that looks like a Green frog from a Danish Kids TV show. AND that \u201cKvaj\u201d is used for someone who has done\/said something really stupid. To make up for doing\/saying something really stupid you give \u201cKvajebajer\u201d \u2013 Aka \u201cMoron\u201d beers as an apology for doing\/saying that stupid thing.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSo many layers in this comeback on Trump\u2019s stupidity on thinking he can buy Greenland.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Plenty of people voiced their love for the orange confectionary, with one person commenting: \u201cDenmark should send a box of these cakes to Trump.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Another joked: \u201cHow very inaccurate \u2013 these cakes are actually charismatic, for one thing.
