In its annual report, DSV highlighted the scale of its IT consolidation work, noting that it has \u201cconsolidated more than 40 acquired data\u00a0centres\u00a0into three DSV-operated data\u00a0centres\u201d.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>It added that the\u00a0rationalisation\u00a0programme\u00a0had also removed complexity from its application landscape, saying it had \u201cclosed more than 5,000 applications\u201d.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>That consolidation\u00a0suggests\u00a0an approach that may\u00a0jettison\u00a0the\u00a0parallel operation of multiple core forwarding platforms\u00a0in the long-term.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>DSV\u2019s report also outlined how it is developing a broader data foundation, describing its shift towards an \u201cEnterprise Data Platform\u201d designed to support greater automation and analytics across operations.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Alongside this, the group said it has built an internal \u201cAI Factory\u201d as part of its wider digital agenda.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The annual report also referenced specific AI-enabled initiatives, including \u201cCustoms AI\u201d,\u00a0and efforts to drive \u201cbooking\u00a0digitalisation\u201d as DSV looks to streamline workflows and improve the customer experience.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>For now, DSV retains its key transport management systems by division, with \u2018Tango\u2019 for Air &amp; Sea and \u2018Star\u2019 for Road.
