{"id":24225,"date":"2026-02-25T12:19:44","date_gmt":"2026-02-25T12:19:44","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/dk\/24225\/"},"modified":"2026-02-25T12:19:44","modified_gmt":"2026-02-25T12:19:44","slug":"new-train-connecting-three-major-scandinavian-cities-launching-this-summer-from-only-12-a-ticket-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/dk\/24225\/","title":{"rendered":"New train connecting three major Scandinavian cities launching this summer from only \u00a312 a ticket"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">A new <a href=\"https:\/\/www.independent.co.uk\/topic\/train\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" data-ylk=\"slk:train;elm:context_link;itc:0;sec:content-canvas\" class=\"link \">train<\/a> launching this summer will connect three major <a href=\"https:\/\/www.independent.co.uk\/topic\/scandinavian\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" data-ylk=\"slk:Scandinavian;elm:context_link;itc:0;sec:content-canvas\" class=\"link \">Scandinavian<\/a> cities for as little as 149 Swedish krone (SEK) or \u00a312.20.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">Private Swedish railway company Sn\u00e4llt\u00e5get has announced it is debuting a new long-distance route connecting Malm\u00f6, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.independent.co.uk\/topic\/gothenburg\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" data-ylk=\"slk:Gothenburg;elm:context_link;itc:0;sec:content-canvas\" class=\"link \">Gothenburg<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.independent.co.uk\/topic\/oslo\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" data-ylk=\"slk:Oslo;elm:context_link;itc:0;sec:content-canvas\" class=\"link \">Oslo<\/a> with direct daytime services.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">The six-and-a-half-hour journey, launching on 15 June, will take passengers along Sweden\u2019s west coast and onwards across the border to Norway\u2019s capital.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">The train will also call at other destinations, including Lund, Helsingborg, Halmstad, Varberg, Trollh\u00e4ttan, Sarpsborg and Fredrikstad.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">There will be one train a day which will leave Malm\u00f6 at 6.38am and arrive at Oslo at 1.16pm, aside from Sundays when the train will leave slightly later at 7.05am.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">In the other direction, the Oslo to Malm\u00f6 route will run in the afternoon, departing at 2.48pm and arriving in the Swedish city at 9.25pm.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">Tickets include two pieces of hand luggage and one smaller personal item.
