A memorial event<br \/>\ndedicated to the anniversary of the Khojaly genocide was held at<br \/>\nthe Azerbaijan House in Warsaw, Poland, <a href=\"http:\/\/en.trend.az\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Trend<\/a> reports via the<br \/>\nState Committee for Work with Diaspora.<\/p>\n<p>The event, organized by the Azerbaijan House in Warsaw and the<br \/>\nPolish Azerbaijani Council (PAC), was attended by members of the<br \/>\nAzerbaijani community as well as local public figures.<\/p>\n<p>Tuncay Novruzzade, a board member of the PAC Warsaw branch, and<br \/>\nAmin Maharramzade, a council member, provided detailed information<br \/>\nabout the Khojaly massacre. They emphasized that the tragedy holds<br \/>\nan unforgettable place in the memory of the Azerbaijani people, and<br \/>\nthat commemorating the victims is crucial for preserving historical<br \/>\njustice and educating future generations about national and moral<br \/>\nvalues.<\/p>\n<p>The event featured a screening of the film Nabat, which depicts<br \/>\nthe deep scars left by the Karabakh war on individuals, the pain of<br \/>\ndisplacement from native lands, and the moral resilience of the<br \/>\npeople through the figure of a mother. The film deeply moved the<br \/>\naudience and evoked strong emotional responses.<\/p>\n<p>A photo exhibition illustrating the horrors of Khojaly was also<br \/>\npresented, showing destroyed homes, lost families, suffering<br \/>\nchildren and elderly people, and the devastated streets of the<br \/>\ncity.
