Danish government is in discussions with the Ukrainian defense company Skyfall, one of the country\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/thedefensepost.com\/2026\/01\/06\/kyiv-defence-city-domestic-sector\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">largest drone manufacturers<\/a>, about <a href=\"https:\/\/www.fmn.dk\/da\/nyheder\/2026\/dialog-med-endnu-en-ukrainsk-forsvarsindustrivirksomhed-med-henblik-pa-etablering-i-danmark\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">establishing<\/a> production in Denmark.<\/p>\n<p>If Skyfall proceeds with the plan, it is expected to cooperate with one or more Danish companies.<\/p>\n<p>Before any contracts are finalized, a thorough due diligence process will be conducted to review the company\u2019s ownership structure, potential corruption risks, and compliance with anti-money laundering standards.<\/p>\n<p>The \u201cUkrainian defense industry has shown an impressive ability to support the country\u2019s defense struggle through continuous innovation and development of their products,\u201d stated Head of the Ministry of Defense Materiel and Procurement Agency, Lieutenant General Per Pugholm Olsen.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSkyfall is a company with an impressive product portfolio that can provide strategically important production and supply on Danish soil \u2013 both for Ukraine and Denmark.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Access to Technology<\/p>\n<p>The discussions align with Kyiv\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/thedefensepost.com\/2025\/06\/24\/ukraine-military-tech-exports-europe\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">Build with Ukraine<\/a> program, which aims to open defense production lines in European partner countries and facilitate technology transfer to allied nations.<\/p>\n<p>Skyfall\u2019s initiative would make the company the second Ukrainian defense firm to establish operations in Denmark, <a href=\"https:\/\/thedefensepost.com\/2025\/12\/03\/denmark-ukraine-rocket-fuel\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">following Fire Point<\/a>, which began construction last year on a facility that will supply rocket and drone fuel to Ukraine, with production scheduled to start in late 2026.<\/p>\n<p>The initiative comes as Ukraine announced earlier this month <a href=\"https:\/\/thedefensepost.com\/2026\/02\/09\/ukraine-weapons-export-europe\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">plans to open 10 weapons export centers<\/a> across Europe this year.<\/p>\n<p>The centers will manage the sale of surplus military equipment, using the proceeds to acquire urgently needed weapons for Ukrainian
