{"id":30812,"date":"2026-03-02T14:59:09","date_gmt":"2026-03-02T14:59:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/dk\/30812\/"},"modified":"2026-03-02T14:59:09","modified_gmt":"2026-03-02T14:59:09","slug":"denmark-orders-military-field-hospitals-from-rheinmetall","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/dk\/30812\/","title":{"rendered":"Denmark Orders Military Field Hospitals From Rheinmetall"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>\t\t\t<a href=\"https:\/\/www.ga-asi.com\/remotely-piloted-aircraft\/gambit-series\" aria-label=\"WhatsApp Image 2026-01-20 at 02.12.26\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/dk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/02\/WhatsApp-Image-2026-01-20-at-02.12.26.jpeg\" alt=\"\"   class=\"no-lazyload\" width=\"1470\" height=\"620\"\/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Denmark\u2019s Ministry of Defence has awarded Rheinmetall a \u201cmid double-digit million euro\u201d contract for the delivery of <a href=\"https:\/\/thedefensepost.com\/2025\/10\/15\/germany-armored-field-hospitals\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">mobile field medical facilities<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The order covers five portable hubs, three of which are configured for basic hospital roles (Role 2B) and the remaining for enhanced function (Role 2E).<\/p>\n<p>Copenhagen\u2019s package includes power generators, water and oxygen supplies, as well as sanitary stations.<\/p>\n<p>The German company noted that the mobile hospitals can resist harsh conditions and rigorous transport, with standards in accordance with the existing capabilities of the Danish Medical Service.<\/p>\n<p>The Role 2B and Role 2E Medical Hubs<\/p>\n<p>Rheinmetall\u2019s Role 2B tactical hospital is a fully containerized structure mounted on a military truck.<\/p>\n<p>The capability includes a tent-based forward module that can deploy as a standalone unit or connect with other facilities.<\/p>\n<p>The hub is designed with diagnostic and surgical capabilities, enabling quick medical response for traumatic injuries near warzones.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, the Role 2E hospital features twice the 2B\u2019s capacity and intensive care space in addition to tomography, laboratory, pharmacy, and dental treatment divisions.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe are delighted to have been awarded this contract by a major NATO partner,\u201d <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rheinmetall.com\/en\/media\/news-watch\/news\/2026\/02\/2026-02-27-rheinmetall-supplies-field-hospitals-for-denmark\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">said<\/a> Armin Krenn, managing director at Rheinmetall Mobile Systeme.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe collaboration with the Danish procurement agency and the end-users has been extremely professional, cooperative, and goal-oriented from the outset.
