{"id":30885,"date":"2026-03-02T16:32:23","date_gmt":"2026-03-02T16:32:23","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/dk\/30885\/"},"modified":"2026-03-02T16:32:23","modified_gmt":"2026-03-02T16:32:23","slug":"amsterdam-man-admits-to-conspiracy-to-mail-meth-fentanyl-from-nevada-to-albany-area","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/dk\/30885\/","title":{"rendered":"Amsterdam man admits to conspiracy to mail meth, fentanyl from Nevada to Albany area"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">ALBANY &#8211; A 40-year-old Amsterdam man pleaded guilty Friday to charges that accused him of distributing methamphetamine and fentanyl through the mail, federal prosecutors announced Monday.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">Felix Arencibia pleaded guilty to conspiracy and methamphetamine distribution charges, according to the U.S. Attorney&#8217;s Office.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">The scheme &#8211; investigated by the Drug Enforcement Administration and U.S. Postal Inspection Service &#8211; revolved around\u00a0Arencibia receiving at least 5,615 grams of\u00a0methamphetamine through the Postal Service from a supplier in Nevada before selling it to other dealers in the Capital Region between November 2022 and July 2023, prosecutors said.<\/p>\n<p>Advertisement<\/p>\n<p>Advertisement<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">According to the U.S. Attorney&#8217;s Office, Arencibia helmed an organization involving eight other people who have since pleaded guilty in the case.
