Moller-Maersk A\/S, has halted the acceptance and shipment of refrigerated, hazardous, and special cargo in Persian Gulf countries.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">The company\u2019s website <a style=\"color: rgb(53, 152, 219);\" href=\"https:\/\/www.maersk.com\/news\/articles\/2026\/03\/02\/middle-east-operational-update-2\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">published<\/a> the announcement, stating:<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">\u201cEffective\u202fimmediately, we are suspending reefer, dangerous \/ special cargo acceptance in and out of UAE, Oman, Iraq, Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain and Saudi Arabia until\u202ffurther notice,\u201d Maersk\u2019s press service warned.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Additionally, Maersk has suspended new bookings for shipments between Persian Gulf countries and India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, and Sri Lanka, with the exception of Dammam and Al-Jubail ports in Saudi Arabia.<\/p>\n<p>Caliber.Az<\/p>\n<p>Views: 116<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"03 March 2026 02:20 One of the world\u2019s largest shipping companies, Denmark\u2019s A.P.
