The inaugural train departed at 7:21 a.m. from Warsaw East Station (Warszawa Wschodnia).<\/p>\n<p>The new route also strengthens the international Warsaw\u2013Krakow\u2013Prague connection, with trains continuing from Krakow Central Station (Krak\u00f3w G\u0142\u00f3wny) to Ostrava, Olomouc, and Pardubice, all the way to the Czech capital.<\/p>\n<p>Two trains daily, with expansion planned<\/p>\n<p>Currently, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.railwaypro.com\/wp\/leo-express-presents-its-new-talgo-trains\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Leo Express<\/a> operates two trains per day between Warsaw and Krakow, with stops at Warsaw Central (Warszawa Centralna), Warsaw West (Warszawa Zachodnia), Opoczno Po\u0142udnie, and W\u0142oszczowa P\u00f3\u0142noc.<\/p>\n<p>Departures are scheduled as follows: By mid-June 2026, the frequency on the Warsaw\u2013Krakow route will increase to four trains daily in each direction.<\/p>\n<p>From Warsaw at 7:21 and 22:36;<br \/>\nFrom Krakow at 3:25 and 18:45.<\/p>\n<p>On the Krakow\u2013Prague route, the frequency will reach three trains daily in each direction, and four on weekends.<\/p>\n<p>High demand at launch<\/p>\n<p>According to the company, over 100,000 tickets have already been sold in Poland for the new services.<\/p>\n<p>The inaugural event was attended by representatives of the Polish railway infrastructure administrator PKP Polskie Linie Kolejowe, the Centralny Port Komunikacyjny (CPK) project, and diplomatic officials.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cCompetition in rail transport brings significant savings for public budgets and taxpayers. We are demonstrating that key routes can operate without subsidies, on a fully commercial basis,\u201d said Peter K\u00f6hler, CEO of Leo Express.<\/p>\n<p>Regional connections and international plans<\/p>\n<p>On the Polish section, trains also stop in Opoczno Po\u0142udnie and W\u0142oszczowa P\u00f3\u0142noc. On the Krakow\u2013Prague route, some services will stop in O\u015bwi\u0119cim, and one train will serve Ratibo\u0159, Rybnik, Tychy, and Mys\u0142owice.<\/p>\n<p>From April, the company also plans to introduce a bus connection between Krakow and Lviv (Ukraine).<\/p>\n<p>Looking ahead, Leo Express is planning a new international connection on the Przemy\u015bl\u2013Rzesz\u00f3w\u2013Krakow\u2013Ostrava\u2013Prague\u2013Dresden\u2013Leipzig\u2013Erfurt\u2013Frankfurt Airport route, as well as Czech-Slovak services between Prague and Bratislava,
