With Harry Styles on the cover of the new issue of Runner\u2019s World<\/a>, we\u2019re revisiting some of our most-read stories about his evolution as a runner, like this recap of his amazing finish at the 2025 Berlin Marathon. Long before this cover, Styles was putting in the miles\u2014and proving he was far more than a casual celebrity runner.

On September 21, 2025, Harry Styles finished the Berlin Marathon<\/a> in 2:59:13\u2014an average pace of 6:50 per mile. That is a strong improvement on his time of 3:24:07 (7:47 per mile) from the Tokyo Marathon<\/a>, which he completed in March 2025.<\/p>\n

Styles, who ran under the alias \u201cSted Sarandos<\/a>,\u201d once again ran very even splits. He ran the first half of the race in 1:29:08, and then completed the second 13.1 miles in 1:30:06. In Tokyo, the 31-year-old paced the race with remarkable consistency, running the first half in 1:42:03, then split a nearly-identical 1:42:04 during the second half.<\/p>\n

In his second World Marathon Major<\/a> of 2025, he was much faster.<\/p>\n

It was a warm day at the Berlin Marathon. Temperatures at the beginning of the race were 66 degrees and climbed into the mid 70s during the race, and runners dealt with high humidity.<\/p>\n

Styles has won three Grammy awards, including \u201cBest Pop Solo Performance\u201d for his hit song \u201cWatermelon Sugar\u201d and two for his 2022 album Harry\u2019s House. He\u2019s also acted in multiple films, such as Dunkirk and Don\u2019t Worry Darling.<\/p>\n

Styles\u2019s marathon time is one of the fastest we\u2019ve ever seen by a celebrity<\/a>. His sub-three hour performance puts him in rare territory.<\/p>\n
