Harry Styles<\/a> has said watching Radiohead<\/a> perform in Berlin inspired him to tour again.<\/p>\n

The former One Direction<\/a> star will drop his fourth studio album \u2018Kiss All The Time. Disco, Occasionally\u2019 tomorrow (Friday March 6). So far, he\u2019s released the hazy dance-pop single \u2018Aperture<\/a>\u2018, which\u00a0NME\u00a0awarded four stars.<\/p>\n

Now, Styles has discussed his club-ready record with Zane Lowe, who asked the singer if there was a particular moment that made him want to return to the stage.<\/p>\n

\u201cI think dancing in Berlin,\u201d Styles told Lowe, adding: \u201cI went to see Radiohead in Berlin, and felt so part of the audience.\u201d Last year, Radiohead performed a residency in the German capital \u2013 along with Madrid, Bologna, Copenhagen and London \u2013 for their first shows in seven years<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Styles went on to say that he \u201chad a very clear moment of: \u2018This is why I get on stage’\u201d.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m watching this and feeling everything that\u2019s happening around me in the crowd,\u201d he continued. \u201cThere\u2019s people picking up each other\u2019s things and people are bringing each other things. It\u2019s this sense of strangers looking at each other and massaging each other\u2019s shoulders when someone\u2019s emotional and looking into the eyes of a stranger and screaming out a chorus together.\u201d<\/p>\n

He concluded: \u201cI had a moment of like, \u2018I\u2019m there so that people can have this\u2019, you know? I\u2019m soundtracking this.\u201d<\/p>\n

Styles has previously cited dance-punk icons LCD Soundsystem as inspirations<\/a> to tour as well, telling BBC Radio 1: \u201cI went to see LCD Soundsystem a couple times. I saw them at a festival in Madrid, that was in like a car park, basically, and then I saw them again at Brixton, and it was just so joyous.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cWhen you\u2019re watching them be so immersed in it, I think the inspiration from them came of like, \u2018oh, that\u2019s how I want to feel when I\u2019m on stage\u2019. And then that kind of led to the kind of music I was making,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n

NME reviewed \u2018Kiss All The Time. Disco, Occasionally<\/a>\u2018, giving it four stars and calling it a \u201ctriumph\u201d: \u201cLargely, Styles taking a new approach to things really works \u2013 \u2018Kiss All The Time\u2026\u2019 feels like an album that you\u2019ll really want to spend a lot of time with, letting all its layers envelope you\u201d.<\/p>\n

Styles will soon take his record to the stage in a series of residencies. The \u2018Together Together\u2019 tour will take place in seven cities<\/a>, with Styles originally announcing six shows at London\u2019s Wembley Stadium, 30 dates at New York\u2019s MSG, and a set of concerts in Mexico City, S\u00e3o Paulo, Amsterdam, Melbourne and Sydney.<\/p>\n

In total, Styles will play 50 dates from May to December, with Robyn<\/a>,\u00a0Shania Twain<\/a>,\u00a0Fcukers<\/a>,\u00a0Jorja Smith<\/a>,\u00a0Jamie xx<\/a>,\u00a0Foushe\u00e9<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0Skye Newman<\/a> acting as openers. Styles will also donate \u00a31 from each ticket sold on his UK leg to LIVE\u2019s grassroots levy<\/a>.
