I brought this to the attention of the DoT in December 2025, and to date nothing has been done to fix this section of road. I was told then that a team would barricade this area which had been done, but all the warning signs have since disappeared.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-566683\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/dk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/03\/MG_5301_31257-520x390.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"520\" height=\"390\"\/>This section of road is a danger to motorists and pedestrians.<\/p>\n<p>It is believed that the washaway was caused by water gushing down King Haakon Drive due to heavy rainfall. \u201cContinuous heavy downpours could expand this washaway, and delays will allow it to grow resulting in further structural degradation, safety hazards and traffic disruptions. Unaddressed washaways grow as water continues to wash underlying soil thus causing voids to enlarge and eventually collapse.
