This year\u2019s event has brought together more than 1,200 certified artisans and food producers, stretching across five kilometres of central streets.<\/p>\n<p>Visitors exploring the sprawling market are greeted with stalls selling glassware, ceramics, jewellery, leather goods, paintings and sculptures, alongside live demonstrations from craftspeople working at forges and potters\u2019 wheels.<\/p>\n<p>Traditional musicians dressed in national costume provide a soundtrack throughout the streets, performing Lithuanian folk music as crowds browse the stalls.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"680\" height=\"377\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/dk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/03\/2-6.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-280307\"  \/>Vilnius Kaziukas Fair 2026<\/p>\n<p>A feast of Baltic traditions<\/p>\n<p>Alongside handmade crafts, the festival also celebrates Lithuania\u2019s culinary heritage.<\/p>\n<p>Food stalls offer a wide range of local delicacies, including baked goods, smoked fish, traditional sausages and freshly prepared dishes. Among the highlights are Cepelinai \u2014 the country\u2019s iconic potato dumplings \u2014 served at open-air eateries across the festival.<\/p>\n<p>Visitors can also take part in hands-on workshops, with opportunities to try traditional techniques such as weaving, ceramics and baking the famous Lithuanian tree cake.<\/p>\n<p>New spaces celebrating regional heritage<\/p>\n<p>Two new areas have been introduced to the festival this year.<\/p>\n<p>The first, Dzyv\u0173 Al\u0117ja (Alley of Life), located in Cathedral Square, brings together leading artisans and food producers from Lithuania\u2019s five ethnographic regions: Auk\u0161taitija, Samogitia, Sudovia, Suvalkija and Lithuania Minor.<\/p>\n<p>Nearby, \u0160ventaragis Valley has been transformed into an interactive craft zone organised by the Avilys.<\/p>\n<p>Here visitors can watch woodcarvers, blacksmiths and jewellers at work and even try traditional techniques themselves.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"680\" height=\"377\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/dk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/03\/3-5.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-280308\"  \/>Vilnius Kaziukas Fair 2026<\/p>\n<p>Craft tourism on the rise<\/p>\n<p>The celebration comes as interest in hands-on craft experiences continues to grow among travellers.
