Columns of smoke were visible across Vilnius and residents in the area were warned to stay indoors. <\/p>\n<p>Interior Minister Vladislavas Kondratovi\u010dius told reporters that initial information suggested that \u201cthe fire was most likely caused by a violation of occupational safety conditions, but all versions are being investigated.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The carriages that caught fire belong to Polish company Orlen, police said.<\/p>\n<p>The tankers were carrying liquefied petroleum gas from Orlen\u2019s Lithuanian unit\u2019s refinery to the Baltoji Vok\u0117 LPG terminal in Vilnius, the company said in an email.
