The Provisional Competition Round (PCR) for the final men\u2019s event of the FIS Nordic Combined World Cup season took place in dense fog in Oslo on Friday.<\/p>\n
A total of 52 athletes from 11 nations were on the start list for one training jump followed by the PCR. Despite the difficult visibility conditions, several athletes managed strong performances on the hill.<\/p>\n
Austria\u2019s Johannes Lamparter delivered the longest jump of the day. The Austrian flew 130 meters and scored 130.9 points, securing first place in the PCR.<\/p>\n
Japan\u2019s Ryota Yamamoto finished second after jumping 129 meters and earning 124.5 points.<\/p>\n
Third place went to Austria\u2019s Thomas Rettenegger, who jumped 127 meters and scored 117.8 points. Rettenegger also claimed this season\u2019s Best Jumper Trophy, awarded to the athlete with the strongest overall jumping performances throughout the World Cup winter.<\/p>\n
