CHURCHVILLE, N.Y. \u2014 The Monroe County Sheriff\u2019s Office told us that traffic has been blocked off in both directions on Chili Riga Center Road between Palmer and Riga Mumford roads, due to a utility pole being hit during a car accident on Sunday. In the report, Deputies were told about a person possibly being trapped in the crash.<\/p>\n
Just past 5 p.m., MCSO said the accident specifically happened in the area of 6650 Chili Riga Center Road. <\/p>\n
When deputies arrived, they found an SUV off the road, having crashed into a utility pole. <\/p>\n
One person in the SUV was taken to Strong Memorial Hospital for minor injuries, with none of the other people in the SUV being injured, deputies say.<\/p>\n
Fallen power lines were seen scattered across the road, the report says.<\/p>\n
The sheriff\u2019s office also said the National Grid is on the scene to repair the pole and lines.<\/p>\n
MCSO will send an update on the repairs.<\/p>\n
