{"id":41844,"date":"2026-03-17T11:07:12","date_gmt":"2026-03-17T11:07:12","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/dk\/41844\/"},"modified":"2026-03-17T11:07:12","modified_gmt":"2026-03-17T11:07:12","slug":"denmark-wins-the-bocuse-dor-europe-2026","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/dk\/41844\/","title":{"rendered":"Denmark wins the Bocuse d\u2019Or Europe 2026"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"c-paragraph b-article-body-skinny\">This time represented by chef Christian Wellendorf, Denmark is no stranger to the competition\u2019s podium, having also won the Bocuse d\u2019Or Europe in 2024.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph b-article-body-skinny\">Denmark has won the Bocuse d\u2019Or World Final three times in 2011, 2019 and 2023. <\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph b-article-body-skinny\">Norway and Italy, represented by Christian Andr\u00e9 Pettersen and Matteo Terranova respectively, finished second and third.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph b-article-body-skinny\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.restaurantonline.co.uk\/Article\/2025\/09\/25\/oliver-mcgeorge-named-the-new-uk-candidate-for-the-bocuse-dor\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/www.restaurantonline.co.uk\/Article\/2025\/09\/25\/oliver-mcgeorge-named-the-new-uk-candidate-for-the-bocuse-dor\/\">Represented by chef Oliver McGeorge,<\/a> the UK placed seventh.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph b-article-body-skinny\">The top 10 have secured their place in the Grand Final, which will take place in January 2027 in Lyon, the birthplace of the high-profile international cookiong contest. <\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph b-article-body-skinny\">The 20 European teams competing had 5 hours 30 minutes to showcase the Mediterranean city\u2019s key ingredients through three tests in front of a judging panel headed by G\u00e9rald Passedat, a three-Michelin-starred chef from Marseille.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph b-article-body-skinny\">\u201cThe Bocuse d\u2019Or is not a competition like any other. It embodies the very best of gastronomy: creativity, professionalism and, above all, team spirit,\u201d he says.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph b-article-body-skinny\">\u201cThe candidates have successfully captured and conveyed the intensity of the Mediterranean\u2019s aromas, the delicacy of the flavours, as well as the elegance and precision of the dishes.
