The Liberal Alliance\u2019s Alex Vanopslagh emerged as the leading figure on the right with 10.5 percent, the poll projected.\u00a0The Green Left is forecast to finish in second place, on 11.4 percent<\/p>\n<p>Denmark is evenly split between a \u201cred bloc\u201d of left-leaning parties led by the Social Democrats, and the right-leaning \u201cblue bloc,\u201d led by Poulsen. Current Foreign Minister Lars L\u00f8kke Rasmussen\u2019s centrist Moderates party \u2014 which scored 8.2 percent, according to the exit poll \u2014 is likely to have the final say in coalition talks.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The Green Left, the Red-Green Alliance and the Danish Social Liberal Party, all part of Frederiksen\u2019s red bloc, achieved better results than in the 2022 parliamentary election.<\/p>\n<p>It is unlikely that the next government will be a repeat of the current coalition, a cross-party administration that broke with the traditional red-blue divide in Danish politics to include the center-left Social Democrats, center-right Venstre, and the centrist Moderates.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The blocs were unable to find a majority, meaning <a href=\"https:\/\/www.politico.eu\/article\/denmark-lars-lokke-rasmussen-kingmaker-election\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Rasmussen emerges as the kingmaker<\/a> in coalition talks.
