WestJet and Scandinavian Airlines System (SAS) have expanded their codeshare partnership for the second time in three months, providing guests on both sides of the Atlantic with more seamless travel options to explore all of Scandinavia and\u00a0Canada\u00a0this summer.<\/p>\n
WestJet guests can now book travel to\u00a0Sweden,\u00a0Norway,\u00a0Denmark\u00a0and\u00a0Finland\u00a0via the airline\u2019s non-stop service between\u00a0Halifax\u00a0and\u00a0Copenhagen\u00a0with the convenience of a single ticket, baggage transfers and the ability to earn WestJet Rewards throughout.<\/p>\n
The addition is particularly exciting for guests based in\u00a0Atlantic Canada, that will now have single-stop connections to:<\/p>\n

\nBergen, Norway
\nStavanger, Norway
\nTrondheim, Norway
\nAalborg, Denmark

And Weatherill added: \u201cWhether they are travelling for business or leisure, adding new codeshare connections with our five-star APEX awarded partner, SAS, via our all-new service between\u00a0Halifax\u00a0and\u00a0Copenhagen\u00a0provides even more choice for Europeans and Canadians alike.\u201d<\/p>\n
SAS has also placed its\u00a0SK code on WestJet\u2019s seasonal nonstop service between\u00a0Halifax\u00a0and\u00a0Copenhagen, allowing guests across Scandinavia and throughout SAS\u2019 comprehensive network to seamlessly connect to Halifax and Atlantic Canada.<\/p>\n
And that means that East Coast Canadians can welcome even more guests from across\u00a0Europe\u00a0throughout the busy summer travel season, strengthening tourism, supporting local businesses and making it easier for friends and family to connect seaside.<\/p>\n
WestJet\u2019s service between\u00a0Copenhagen\u00a0and\u00a0Halifax\u00a0operates four days per week during the summer months and complements WestJet\u2019s ongoing codeshare connections to Scandinavia. The airline currently offers codeshare access beyond WestJet\u2019s transatlantic flights between\u00a0Calgary\u00a0and\u00a0Paris, and\u00a0Calgary\u00a0and\u00a0London, as previously\u00a0announced late last year.<\/p>\n
