{"id":48966,"date":"2026-03-26T09:29:10","date_gmt":"2026-03-26T09:29:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/dk\/48966\/"},"modified":"2026-03-26T09:29:10","modified_gmt":"2026-03-26T09:29:10","slug":"tallinn-unveils-third-phase-of-major-bus-network-changes-news","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/dk\/48966\/","title":{"rendered":"Tallinn unveils third phase of major bus network changes | News"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Tallinn unveiled its third round of bus network changes, with routes in Mustam\u00e4e and Haabersti most affected, and is now seeking public feedback before finalizing the plan.<\/p>\n<p>The third phase adjusts existing routes rather than adding new ones, merging some lines to improve district connections.<\/p>\n<p>Buses number 1 and 14 will be merged, with the new number 1 route to run from Vana-P\u00e4\u00e4sk\u00fcla to Viimsi, adding Risti and dropping Nurme and Raba stops from the old number 14 route.<\/p>\n<p>Buses number 18 and 18A will likewise be merged, with the number 18 to run from Urda to Viru keskus.<\/p>\n<p>In Haabersti, buses number 21 and 21B will be merged, with the new number 21 running between Landi and Viru keskus. The number 41 and 41B buses will also be merged, with the number 41 running from the northern tip of Kakum\u00e4e to Balti jaam via Vaba\u00f5humuuseumi tee.<\/p>\n<p>The number 21A bus will become the 22, rerouted to run from V\u00e4ike-\u00d5ism\u00e4e to Vaba\u00f5humuuseumi tee via M\u00f5isa t\u00e4nav, the northern end of Kakum\u00e4e, Vana-Rannam\u00f5isa tee and Rocca Al Mare School before returning to V\u00e4ike-\u00d5ism\u00e4e.<\/p>\n<p>The number 37 bus, previously Mustam\u00e4e\u2013Zoo, will connect Kakum\u00e4e sadam and Mustam\u00e4e via Vana-Rannam\u00f5isa tee, Ehitajate tee, Tammsaare tee and S\u00f5pruse puiestee.<\/p>\n<p>The number 20 will be rerouted from Kadaka puiestee to Rehe tee and extended from its current terminus at the D-terminal to Viru keskus.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" style=\"width: 100%;\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/dk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/03\/3266660h8df5t28.png\"\/><\/p>\n<p>The 20A bus will become the number 19, running from Laagri to D-terminal via an adjusted route including M\u00e4epealse t\u00e4nav, Vilde tee, Tammsaare tee and P\u00e4rnu maantee via Tondi t\u00e4nav.<\/p>\n<p>Buses number 23 and 24 will see minor adjustments in Mustam\u00e4e, with the number 24 dropping M\u00e4epealse as a stop but introducing articulated buses to the route.<\/p>\n<p>The number 72 bus connecting Mustam\u00e4e and P\u00f5hja-Tallinn will be extended to connect Mustam\u00e4e High School and Tallinn University of Technology (TalTech), part of a plan to reintroduce the number 9 trolley the bus route was established to cover.<\/p>\n<p>The number 28 between Haabersti and Central Tallinn will no longer detour deep into Mustam\u00e4e, instead running along Kadaka t\u00e4nav to Kristiine and Linnu tee.
