{"id":50066,"date":"2026-03-27T15:21:07","date_gmt":"2026-03-27T15:21:07","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/dk\/50066\/"},"modified":"2026-03-27T15:21:07","modified_gmt":"2026-03-27T15:21:07","slug":"vilnius-airport-airspace-was-closed-twice-on-thursday-and-friday","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/dk\/50066\/","title":{"rendered":"Vilnius Airport airspace was closed twice on Thursday and Friday"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Airspace over Vilnius Airport was initially closed from 9:56 p.m. to 10:55 p.m. on Thursday due to the Belarusian hybrid attack, stated Lithuanian Airports, the company managing the country\u2019s three main airports.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;On Friday, at 12:24 a.m., due to the hybrid attack carried out by Belarus against Lithuania, civil aviation, and the public \u2013 with navigation traces characteristic of balloons being detected \u2013 temporary airspace restrictions were introduced over Vilnius Airport,&#8221; stated Lithuanian Airports.<\/p>\n<p>Although arrivals were promptly suspended, yet departures were allowed maintaining all safety requirements.
