{"id":525,"date":"2026-02-06T08:06:10","date_gmt":"2026-02-06T08:06:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/dk\/525\/"},"modified":"2026-02-06T08:06:10","modified_gmt":"2026-02-06T08:06:10","slug":"third-country-travellers-at-riga-airport-will-be-able-to-approve-tax-free-receipts-for-goods-purchased-in-other-countries","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/dk\/525\/","title":{"rendered":"Third country travellers at Riga Airport will be able to approve Tax Free receipts for goods purchased in other countries"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Starting from 4 February 2026, travellers will be able to receive customs approval at the Customs Approval System (CAS) Self-Service Kiosk located at RIX Riga Airport for goods purchased using the Tax Free service &#8211; the goods can be purchased not only in Latvia, but also from SIA \u201cGlobal Blue Latvija\u201d partners in Estonia, Italy, Lithuania, Finland and Sweden and are intended for export outside the European Union.<\/p>\n<p>Last spring, the CAS Self-service kiosk was installed at Riga Airport, in cooperation with the State Revenue Service, SIA \u201cGlobal Blue Latvija\u201d and VAS \u201cStarptautisk\u0101 lidosta \u201cR\u012bga\u201d\u201d.
