It’s an even longer, longer time from January to September, but that hasn’t prevented the organisers of the annual R\u012bga Conference from marking your card early on January 9th.<\/p>\n
This year’s geopolitical talking shop will take place on 10th-11th September, they have announced, adding “Mark your calendars \u2013 more information coming soon.<\/p>\n
Lest we forget: “And the wine dwindles down to a precious brew, September, November, And these few vintage years I’d share with you” says September Song, which will no doubt provide encouragement in these dark days for those anticipating attending the Riga Conference’s famous ‘Night Owl’ sessions in which many a participant can be seen nodding sagely, glass in hand, possibly while preparing to moderate a discussion the next day.<\/p>\n
As for what will actually be under discussion in eight months’ time \u2013 God willing \u2013 the Riga Conference organizers have a few hints, saying:<\/p>\n
