The LEGO Group<\/a> is expanding its sports portfolio with the launch of LEGO Editions, a new platform that blends collectibles, storytelling, and fan engagement through soccer-inspired building sets<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Timed to coincide with global football celebrations and the FIFA World Cup, the initial lineup highlights four of the sport\u2019s biggest stars \u2014 Lionel Messi, Cristiano Ronaldo, Kylian Mbapp\u00e9, and Vin\u00edcius J\u00fanior \u2014 each appearing as LEGO<\/a> minifigures for the first time.<\/p>\n

\u201cWith these new sets we\u2019re bringing the thrill of football to life in a way that allows fans to build, create, and celebrate,\u201d shares Julia Goldin, Chief Marketing and Product Officer at The LEGO Group<\/a>. \u201cWe wanted to capture the essence of some of today\u2019s greatest football players, and honor what makes them special, sparking imagination and excitement in kids and families worldwide.\u201d<\/p>\n

The collection includes multiple formats designed for display and play. \u201cFootball Highlights\u201d sets for builders ages 10 and up<\/a> feature stylized, letter-shaped builds tied to each player\u2019s name, incorporating national team colors, jersey numbers, and Easter eggs referencing their careers. Each set includes a minifig and a collectible<\/a> plaque.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s not every day you get to be transformed into a LEGO set,\u201d says Ronaldo. \u201cI\u2019m incredibly honored to be part of this new lineup of LEGO Editions, alongside three other incredible players in the sport.\u201d<\/p>\n

The LEGO Editions Lionel Messi \u2013 Celebration Set is 1,427 pieces and offers a 3D wall art display capturing the player\u2019s signature victory pose, with detailed references to his legacy.<\/p>\n

Additional \u201cFootball Legend\u201d sets provide larger-scale builds of Messi and Ronaldo, each offering multiple display options to showcase iconic moments, including Ronaldo\u2019s \u201cSiuuu\u201d celebration and Messi\u2019s on-field movement.<\/p>\n
