The company\u2019s near\u2011term and long\u2011term emission reduction targets have been validated by the Science Based Targets initiative (\u201cSBTi\u201d).<\/p>\n<p>The interest margin on the SLL is linked to the achievement of key performance indicators (the \u201cKPIs\u201d) relating to the reduction of upfront embodied emissions from new construction and major renovations, and the maintenance of in\u2011use operational greenhouse gas (\u201cGHG\u201d) emissions from the property portfolio at or below base\u2011year levels.<\/p>\n<p>All KPIs have either been validated by the SBTi or are derived from Entra\u2019s SBTi\u2011approved 2030 emission reduction trajectory.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cNIB\u2019s first sustainability-linked loan to the real estate sector is a clear acknowledgement of Entra\u2019s long-term commitment to reduce carbon emissions and demonstrates how our strategy can generate tangible commercial value.
