(KRON<\/a>) \u2014 A popular coffee roaster overseas is bringing its flavors from Amsterdam, Netherlands to the San Francisco Bay Area. (No, it\u2019s not Dutch Bros as the drive-thru coffee chain was founded in Oregon.)<\/p>\n

Dak Coffee Roasters is doing three limited-time pop-up events in San Francisco and Palo Alto next week, it announced in a social media post<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The first event is at Good Thing Coffee in Palo Alto on Tuesday, April 14 from 12:30 p.m. to 3 p.m. The Netherlands-based coffee roaster will be taking over the bar, and the event is \u201copen to all.\u201d<\/p>\n

On April 15, Dak Coffee will be at The Coffee Movement in San Francisco, where it will host a presentation on coffee fermentation methods. The event is from 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at the Balboa Street location in the Inner Richmond.<\/p>\n

On April 16, Dak Coffee will take over the bar at HI NRG on Clement Street in San Francisco\u2019s Inner Richmond. The pop-up will be from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.<\/p>\n

SoCal-based Vietnamese coffee shop opens first Bay Area location <\/a><\/p>\n

Neither Dak Coffee nor the local coffee venues mentioned any ticket requirement or purchase for these pop-up events.<\/p>\n

Some of the drinks to be served during the pop-up include, according to HI NRG, \u201cDak\u2019s Blackberry Hug on espresso\u201d and \u201cHydro Honey on batch filter,\u201d which is a honey-processed coffee using Ethiopian beans.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe\u2019re honored to announce that next\u00a0Thursday, April 16th, our friends at Dak from Amsterdam will be taking over the pourover bar,\u201d HI NRG wrote in a Substack post. \u201cMeet some of the masterminds behind one of our stalwart roasters, and sample some of their brews.<\/p>\n

Dak Coffee Roasters was founded in 2019 by Louis-Philippe & Veronique, who are originally from Montreal, Canada but settled in Amsterdam, Netherlands. The co-founders are in California for the World of Coffee convention in San Diego, which is described as \u201cNorth America\u2019s biggest coffee industry event.\u201d<\/p>\n

Dak Coffee has since grown in popularity with more than 58,000 Instagram followers.<\/p>\n
