{"id":60639,"date":"2026-04-14T10:23:08","date_gmt":"2026-04-14T10:23:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/dk\/60639\/"},"modified":"2026-04-14T10:23:08","modified_gmt":"2026-04-14T10:23:08","slug":"evolve-energy-buys-race-bank-offshore-wind-farm-power-from-shell","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/dk\/60639\/","title":{"rendered":"Evolve Energy Buys Race Bank Offshore Wind Farm Power from Shell"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Evolve Energy, a UK-based energy supplier offering solutions for direct access to renewable energy for industrial and commercial businesses, has entered into a nine-year power purchase agreement (PPA) with Shell for electricity generated by the Race Bank offshore wind farm, with which Shell has an offtake agreement.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"576\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/dk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/Race-Bank-offshore-wind-farm_-Credit-Orsted-1024x576.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-100311750\"  \/>Race Bank offshore wind farm; Photo: \u00d8rsted<\/p>\n<p>Under the agreement, which represents Evolve Energy\u2019s largest offshore wind PPA to date, the company will offtake around 112 GWh of renewable electricity per year until 2035, totalling over 1 TWh over the lifetime of the agreement.<\/p>\n<p>Evolve Energy will supply the electricity to over 80 different industrial and commercial customers through a \u201crenewable basket\u201d model, which aggregates demand from multiple organisations, allowing businesses to directly access renewable energy of differing technologies through a single commercial framework.
