Sarah Cox, Chief Creative Director of Aardman, commented, \u201cThe response to the LEGO Play App stop-motion studio series and our lovable alien Boop has been phenomenal and inspirational, we\u2019ve seen lots of passionate engagement from young LEGO fans \u2014 and (hopefully!) future animators \u2014 whose ideas helped shape and influence the final film.\u201d<\/p>\n
As well as the five-minute animated short film, LEGO Insiders Club and Aardman have produced a wealth of interactive content including a special behind-the-scenes documentary, build challenges, animation tips and quizzes.<\/p>\n Inspired by the positive message of collaboration from the project, the LEGO Group is kicking off various outreach programs in the U.K., including:<\/p>\n Young V&A Social Impact Program: Boop will be included as part of the LEGO Group\u2019s ongoing social impact work with Young V&A, connecting with local kids from Tower Hamlets schools to attend the Inside Aardman: Wallace & Gromit and Friends exhibition<\/a>, followed by an exclusive screening of the Boop\u00a0short film and a LEGO brick stop-motion workshop.<\/p>\n In a nod to the upcoming LEGO Ideas Wallace & Gromit set, eagle-eyed fans may spot a poster of the iconic duo in brick form during the Boop short film as a special Easter egg.
