It acts as a crucial connection point for the metro and numerous bus lines, particularly toward Ekerö and the western parts of Stockholm, with roughly 70,000 people passing through daily. The approved start-PM covers a blueprint of approximately 45,000 square meters of gross floor area (GFA), and will enable about 190 residential units, along with necessity retail, services, cultural and leisure venues, as well as office spaces.

Revelop has been active around Brommaplan for many years and is now progressing the development blueprint for the area in close collaboration with the City. Revelop is adopting an in-fill development structure utilizing the existing built environment to add qualities and strengthen the area over time.

“The approval of the start-PM is an important milestone. Together with the City, we are taking the next step in developing Brommaplan into a more vibrant and attractive place for people to live, work and recreate,” says Mathias Björkman, Senior Director, Real Estate at Revelop.

“Previous plans for the area have been extensive and difficult to implement. Our in-fill approach is different – we build on what already exists and develop the area step by step, with a focus on what works well today,” adds Mathias Björkman.

The proposal aligns with Stockholm’s comprehensive plan and reinforces Brommaplan as a strategic urban node with potential for housing, businesses, and services.

The development plan is progressing, with a projected final municipal decision expected in 2029. At the same time, Revelop continues to invest in and improve the area through ongoing initiatives, in close collaboration with existing tenants, including safety-enhancing measures and upgrades to existing assets.

For further information, please contact:

Mathias Björkman, Senior Director, Real Estate, Revelop

Pressmeddelande – 21 April 2026 08:01 Dela Länk kopierad!
