Europe \u2013 April 20, 2026: Supporters of the\u00a0Iranian Resistance<\/a>\u00a0held rallies in Stockholm (outside the Ministry of Foreign Affairs), Berlin (outside the Iranian regime\u2019s embassy), Copenhagen (outside the Iranian regime\u2019s embassy), Rome (outside the Iranian regime\u2019s embassy), and Cologne to protest the execution of\u00a0PMOI<\/a>\u00a0political prisoners\u00a0Hamed Validi<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0Mohammad (Nima) Masoom Shah<\/a>i, who were executed by the Iranian regime on April 20.<\/p>\n They called on European governments to take immediate action to stop executions in Iran. Over the past three weeks, eight members of the People\u2019s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI\/MEK<\/a>), along with seven protesters arrested during the January 2026 uprising, have been executed.<\/p>\n Demonstrators strongly condemned the actions of the mullahs\u2019 regime, describing the executions as a blatant violation of human rights.
