AP<\/p>\n<p>Early morning crash<\/p>\n<p>A police spokesperson \u200bsaid it was too early to say what had caused the crash on the Gribskov train line linking \u200bthe towns of Hillerod and Kagerup, adding there would be an extensive investigation.<\/p>\n<p>A total of 37 people are believed to have been on board the two trains at the time of the crash, which occurred shortly before 6:30 a.m. (0430 GMT), the \u200bpolice said.<\/p>\n<p>While health services attended to the injured, those who were not physically hurt were also offered \u200bassistance, said transport group Movia, parent company of rail operator Lokaltog.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe serious train accident on the Gribskov Line deeply affects \u200cus at \u2060Movia, and our thoughts go out to the injured, their relatives, and Lokaltog\u2019s employees,\u201d Movia board Chair Kenneth Gotterup said in a statement.<\/p>\n<p>Emergency services scrambled 18 vehicles and 47 rescue workers to the crash site.<\/p>\n<p>Swedish Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson said he had contacted acting Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen to offer assistance.<\/p>\n<p><img alt=\"Two yellow and grey trains stood at the site, both with visible damage to the front \u200band facing each other on a tree-lined stretch of track.
