A left winger by trade, he has shown immense promise in youth competitions and could be ready for a higher level of football.<\/p>\n That is precisely why Ajax are eyeing a move for the Dutchman, knowing a breakthrough in the Barcelona first-team could be difficult due to the sheer competition involved.<\/p>\n Shane has recently extended his contract at Barcelona. But it appears Ajax are ready to lure him with the promise of first-team action.
