{"id":69627,"date":"2026-04-27T18:15:14","date_gmt":"2026-04-27T18:15:14","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/dk\/69627\/"},"modified":"2026-04-27T18:15:14","modified_gmt":"2026-04-27T18:15:14","slug":"brussels-policy-harms-georgia-eu-partnership","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/dk\/69627\/","title":{"rendered":"Brussels\u2019 policy harms Georgia-EU partnership"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Georgia\u2019s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Maka Bochorishvili held a meeting with EU Ambassador Pavel Herczynski, <a href=\"https:\/\/apa.az\" class=\"hyperlink\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">APA<\/a>\u2019s local bureau reports.<\/p>\n<p>During the meeting, dissatisfaction was expressed regarding the ambassador\u2019s statements about Georgia made at an event held in Brussels.<\/p>\n<p>The foreign minister noted that Brussels\u2019 current policy, actions\u00a0and statements toward Tbilisi undermine trust between Georgia and the EU and harm the partnership.<\/p>\n<p>The minister said that Brussels\u2019 actions can only be assessed as steps aimed at further polarizing Georgian society and promoting a radical agenda.<\/p>\n<p>Bochorishvili emphasized that the Georgian authorities are ready for constructive dialogue and expect a fair and respectful approach from the EU.<\/p>\n<p>Note that Pavel Herczynski recently stated that Georgia is at a crossroads.
