Their campaign even <a href=\"https:\/\/www.politico.eu\/newsletter\/politico-eu-influence\/how-to-not-make-friends-but-influence-people\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">persuaded Commission President Ursula von der Leyen<\/a> to adopt the U.S.-style \u201cEU Inc.\u201d rebrand of the proposal.<\/p>\n<p>One hole in the proposal announced by McGrath on March 18 that Klinger sees is the lack of a Delaware-style disputes tribunal.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"683\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/dk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/GettyImages-2266679462-1024x683.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-8342381\"  \/>European Commissioner Michael McGrath speaks to the media in Brussels on March 18, 2026. | Thierry Monasse\/Getty Images<\/p>\n<p>The blueprint to create a new interface for company law, while not seriously harmonizing labor, taxation, or insolvency standards, might miss the mark if the goal is to keep European founders from flocking to Delaware.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s a very, very small improvement with close to zero macroeconomic impact.
